Human Influence
. A negative effect on the Taiga Biome is deforestation. Current logging is at extreme, and could cause the trees disappeareance. Also acid rain is causing a negative effect. The acid rain does not usually kill the trees but it can weaken them. The acid rain damages their leaves, limits nutrients they can obtain, or poisons from toxins in the soil.
Some positive human effects on the Taiga Biome is replanting the trees. This will take a long time because of the climate. Also, simply staying away from the animals, and the biome helps. There are a lot of endangered animals in the Taiga Biome. These animals include the Bald Eagle, the Wolverine, and the Red Fox.
Some solutions for environmental problems are protecting the rest of the forrest the Taiga Biome has. Humans are working on the land expantion we are trying to protect, so logging will not wipe out the forrests. Recycling is also encouraged so we can cut the down on the trees we are cutting down. Replanting trees will be a long term solution, and trying to cut down on polluion, because global warming is really disturbing the biome.
